Features & Benefits

A Global Education
It’s not about memorizing countries on a map. Learning about a country half a world away creates a sense of empathy and global connectedness while helping children to see their place in the world.
Make Learning More Fun
What is more exciting that exotic lands and daring adventurers? With out materials you can peak students’ interest in social studies, increase their curiosity, and promote independent learning.
Helping Other Students
We partner with local teachers in underprivileged schools to prepare our international materials. This way our profits funnel straight back into classrooms where it will do the most good.
Preparing For The Future
The issues of tomorrow will not be solved by one national but by the collective efforts of the world community. Our children must understand the world they live in if they are some day to run it.

The Experts Agree…

Fernando Reimers
Director, International Education Policy Program
“A decade ago, the average high school student took three civics courses in order to graduate. Now it’s just one. Schools aren’t helping to develop full citizens who understand what democracy is and why it breaks down, what their rights and responsibilities are toward one another, or what role international institutions play in advancing human rights.”

Vivien Stewart
Becoming Citizens of the World, Educational Leadership
“U.S. high school graduates will: Sell to the world; buy from the world; work for international companies; manage employees from other cultures and countries; collaborate with people all over the world in joint ventures; compete with people on the other side of the world for jobs and markets; and tackle global problems, such as AIDS, avian flu, pollution, and disaster recovery… We need to open global gateways and inspire students to explore beyond their national borders.”

Michael Lisman
Coordinator for Inter-American Dialogue in Central America and the Caribbean
“Just as computer literacy became an increasing necessity to live in a changing world in the last decade, global cultural literacy should now occupy the same importance in our schools.”

How It Works

Step One

We offer 3 different levels of adventure for both parents and teachers – Explorer Postcards, Adventure Packs, and Classroom Bundles. Our materials are perfect for birthday presents, holiday gifts, summer fun, homeschooling lessons, or social studies classrooms. Your personal information is 100% safe with us and we promise to never share your contact information or send you anything but the most valuable materials possible.

Step Two

Our Postcards and Packages arrive very month from a new, exciting destination. The excitement of waiting for the postcards and packages can’t compare to the fun and adventure that is in store once they arrive. You and your student can discover the new location on the map, marvel at how far the card traveled to reach your mailbox, and learn through the fun activities and games inside. Every postcard is sent and postmarked from a foreign country. Every package includes a range of authentic games, toy, and souvenirs from the host country. You will also receive local currency (great for math lessons), a newspaper or children’s book in the local language, and and a special treat that is a favorite among the children of the host country.

Step Three

Our postcards are shipped from abroad and delivery dates can vary. Don’t worry though; while you wait, you can enjoy the fun of weekly activity emails. These emails will offer more information on the featured country including educational videos and audio of local music. We will also include a mix of instructions for local games, common children’s songs, simple language lessons, and traditional recipes so you can fully immerse yourself and your child in the country they are learning about.
